It’s good advice. I wanted the lava for more homogenous drainage but didn’t even realize it could also double as a living space for the fungi and bacteria!(seeing as perlite has a tendency to float or sift to the top)

Do you think Instead of adding additional Peat I can sub the verm for coco? I think it would help with soil texture and retention of water no?

Yeah I definitely agree It’s more complicated then bottle nutes and at the end of the day I want to make a living soil and the recipe was gonna be my base but I guess I have some more reading to do, do you have any reference material I can go off of?

Do you not understand the conversions? I did all the amendments in grams because I thought it would be easier and there is 28317 grams in 1 cubic foot (using water) as for the perlite verm and lava rock I converted cubic feet to dry quarts. If you think about it though The way these conversions...
