Thanks for the advice. I pulled the soil back very gently with tweezers. The one seed sunk too deep and was definitely dead. The other has a quite healthy tap root so I loosened the soil some more and planted it 1/4" deep, hopefully that one sprouts now. I planted a few more using the advice...

It's nice and warm where they are, large window right near it and that area usually gets 6-8 hours sunlight a day. Heat register is nearby aswell.

Thanks. I'll wait it out then, I hope they sprout. Is it common for a seed in the batch to sprout alot sooner than others?
