Can some one fill me in on what it means when my water level has dropped but my ppm has went up? I use a 5 gallon bucket that gets filled to approx. 8" of water the ppm starts at about 1000 -150pp tap water. At bucket change water was at 5" and ppm was 1800. PH was 5.9 Is my plant not using...

I'm doing Hydro by the way. Lights came on and I checked the PPM and PH. PH 6.04 PPM 1140 - tap at 150 = 990ppm Do I need some cal/mag?

This is my first attempt at growing. I germinated 2 seed in rockwool. One has sprouted and is about 1.5" tall. The other one has not. What is this dark spot on the side of this cube? I this seed trying to sprout out of the side?

What was the final yield? I have 2 spider farmer 1000's. I will be doing one plant for each light in a RDWC. Never grown before. Curious on what yield I can get.
