That could be it. I know I have a few strains that take more than others. My bodega Bubblegum will get nitrogen deficiency at the same strength nutes that makes my cackleberry get nute tip burn.

Also you should know harvesting before peak maturity will cause a lighter high due to low thc% strain(sativa/indica) is the real deciding factor on how it feels.

I would say that the leaves turning brown is most likely happening as a result of lack of nutrients basically the plant is eating itself to stay alive.

I get that there is really high thca% but you simply cannot separate the thca from all the lipids and other plant material by using a rosin press. Most of the lipids are to viscous to melt out of the thca portion without degrading the thca into thc/Cbn. Pure thca is either in a large crystal or...

Mechanical separation will never achieve pure thca isolation there no way to remove lipids. That's why mechanical separation never achieves diamond formations. That and it requires to much heat which partially decarbs the extract.
