Well I didn't wanna just spew out some bullshit so I tested it earlier. My nute mix is redish in the reservior. I put some in the test vial and dropped a few drops of ph tester in it and gave it a shake. It turned even more red.... looked on my little tester bottle here and it tells me thats 4.0...

Um no dude. How in the fuck can you tell the right color of that test kit when your nute mix is not clear? Oh might be a newbie here but I been growing 20 years....

No you can't be using the dropper PH tester for your nute mix... thats for phing your water not your nute mix. Its a water ph test kit for the love of weed people. You just get yourself a ph tester for your res. That dumb little testing kit is just for testing plain jane water not your mixs.
