Can high THC options provide pain relief as well or only high CBD strains?

Desperate and newly diagnosed with RA here. Tried a pre-rolled that had a THC of .05% and CBD of over 12% but didn't observe any relief from pain. What should I try next? Thanks for any suggestions, new to this.
