What should i do? my schedule doesn't call for darkness for about 3 hours! :sad:

i have a couple sprouts at the moment relaxing under just a couple florescent tubes, 17 watt each. i just purchased a 250-400w ajustible ballast, 400w mh and a reflector. would the change to my plants be too much for the moment? being they are not quite a week old yet?

what im asking is will a 400 and a 600 use up the same amount of power as a 1000 over an identical period of time? and if so do you think they would be more effective and possibly able to cover more space?

A buddy of mine owns a couple green house's and grows your everyday flowering plants. He has offered to give me some Proven Winner nutrients for flowering plants, its 24-12-17 with a few other little things thrown in. Do you think it would be worth it to use at any point in time during my plants...

I have a now empty enviormentaly friendly cleaner in a spray bottle. Do you think if I washed it out with rubbing alcohol and then tons of hot water, should be okay to water my plants?:-?
