Can anyone help with this identification Is it bud rot

Can I trim off the big fan leaves shadowing my bud sites or will it put to much stress on my plant

This is my first time trying to grow I have been giving nutes from the fox farm schedule at 1/4 strength nervous to up the dosage some input would be greatly appreciated
