So about a month ago i harvested one of my plants, but left it in the soil in the garage to dispose of at a later date.. Just remembered it today and it has new growth, my garage is pitch black and it obviously hasnt been watered how is this possible

Just wondering if this plant is ready yet or if it needs a few more days
