What do you mean by popsicle stick into the base? Details please :)

For those who do dark days before you harvest, where and how long do you do this? I’ve been growing outdoors, just looking for some recommendations of a dark place in a typical home. Like a laundry room? Garage? Do you need a fan running or controlled temp? Does it need to be totally dark?

When does the flowering stage start? When you switch lights to 12/12 or when you actually start to see flowers start to form? Trying to figure out what week I am in flowering.

I have a loupe. Not milky yet, clear but a few amber tops. Sounds like the Trichomes are the greatest determiners if they’re ready, and ignore how the pistils look. Is that right?

That’s what I was thinking too, but the pistils turned almost all brown was starting to freak me out.

Trichomes still look clear to me but pistils are 85% amber and curled. Are these ready to harvest? They are about 6-7 weeks in to flower. 303 OG and holy grail feminized photoperiod. Started them all at the same time.

One of my plants have a few black pistils among the white ones. I’m about 4 weeks into flower. Is this normal? Posted plants yesterday and everyone said they were female, which was my first concern that maybe it was a hermie. What could be the issue?

Hello! New to this. Plants seem to be thriving but upon close examination, I am wondering if these are normal buds for a female plant or if these are pollen sacs of a hermie? Plants are about 4 weeks in to flower.
