Good news. I just spoke with Mark at Platinum LED. He said they can make lights with a veg spectrum only. It would have 2 veg switches. Why buy a T5 at that point? These lights have a good warrantee, and a good $/watt. At the very least, you don't have to keep buying bulbs like an HPS or T5...

You're making this so complicated. Don't add Calimagic. I don't see any reason to ever exceed 1000ppm. Tap water or Reverse Osmosis? What are you growing in hydro, soil, coco?
