How soon until you saw results? How many days?

it's called aerating the roots. By stabbing the soil medium, you not only drive air down into the growing medium but you also break up compacted soil which may or may not be hindering new root growth. hotrodharley is a big proponent of this technique and could probably explain better than I could.
