    Begginer trying to grow outdoor

Damn, 38c is wild. I have no tips or advice for that. I guess the shade cloth is a good idea. Make sure to water enough. When it's that hot I would rather you watered too much than too little. Your plant needs a lot of water in that heat. Good idea with putting your pot inside a bigger pot, to...

What are the most legendary strains?

I'm not talking about your personal favourite, sourcandyruntzcookie x47 cinderella lemonpie or whatever. I'm talking about strains everyone should try to grow and smoke, strains that are the best of the best, for whatever reason. Northern lights? Blue dream? Those are the only two that come to...

Grow journal - Outdoors 2024 - Frisian Dew, Frisian Duck, Sweet Tooth Auto, Early Skunk

No major updates. All plants seem relatively happy. Not sure how far along the Sweet Tooth Auto is, but flowering nicely. I think the Frisian Dew is gonna be a beast in flower.

    Am I over thinking this

Can highly recommend this browser extension: Everything Metric - It converts all the gallons for you into liters, and cups into ml etc, so behind the gallon measurement it says [11.4L] for instance. There's also one for firefox of the same name. It's great on this forum since it seems most...

Do you keep or remove unhappy leaves caused by deficiencies?

I was just wondering, the plant cannibalises those leaves for nutrients. So isn't it better to leave them until the plant is done using them? Like as a buffer? To protect the top half of your plant? Or is there a benefit to removing leaves which you know will die eventually?

    Am I over thinking this

Okay, I hope you're right. I've just been told on here several times that synthetic nutrients and the salts in them are harmful to your microbial life in the soil. I don't know what the facts are.

    Am I over thinking this

Is the Fox Farm trio organic? I'm not familiar with it. Because if it's synthetic then you're killing your beneficial microbes anyway, right?

Sweet Tooth Auto - Weird behavior by one of the buds

I might be wrong, but I don't think we have those here. I don't think the damage looks consistent with the pictures I find of Russet mite damage either. I haven't seen a single bug on the plant either. I appreciate the suggestion tho, I will check it again when the sun is out and see if there's...

Sweet Tooth Auto - Weird behavior by one of the buds

I have some leaf miners (A couple) and slight signs of thrips, etc but nothing critical. But I've never seen this before. All my other plants are fine by the way, it's only this one showing this particular symptom.

Sweet Tooth Auto - Weird behavior by one of the buds

Just bumping. Is it nute burn?

Grow journal - Outdoors 2024 - Frisian Dew, Frisian Duck, Sweet Tooth Auto, Early Skunk

Maybe I'm just imagining things but I feel like the fish mix helped at least the Frisian Dew look a lot better. I'm going to stop posting the two in-ground plants, they're just pathetic. Never really recovered. Might post them again if they perk up. Any estimates on the Sweet Tooth Auto? How...

    Is this a good light

Gonna link it again because it's very much relevant to what you're talking about. https://migrolight.com/blogs/grow-light-reviews/the-best-small-grow-light-for-a-2-x-2-or-0-6m-x-0-6m-grow-tent You can get a perfectly fine light for 110-150$

    Begginer trying to grow outdoor

Generally, Biobizz all mix should be fine to germinate in. That's what I've heard at least. However, some cannabis plants are going to be weaker or stronger than others. It's possible you got one that is a bit sensitive to nutrients and that it got burnt a little. Two options: Wait and see or...

    Is this a good light

If you already own it, go for it. But it seems like overkill. I'll just link this https://migrolight.com/blogs/grow-light-reviews/the-best-small-grow-light-for-a-2-x-2-or-0-6m-x-0-6m-grow-tent

    Begginer trying to grow outdoor

It's probably just a weirdo then. Sometimes early growth can be weird. In the future, I would suggest starting more than just two plants. Because it's hard to not get attached, in the worst-case scenario, let's say this plant is sick or something and it dies. Then it's not a big blow to you...

    Begginer trying to grow outdoor

Hard to say. There are a couple of options. Either it's just a little weirdo and will correct itself with time. But it's also possible that the nutrients in the soil are too much, but then I feel like it would look worse. I hope someone who knows more will give an opinion. But they will probably...

Grow journal - Outdoors 2024 - Frisian Dew, Frisian Duck, Sweet Tooth Auto, Early Skunk

Small update. Removed a bit of foliage lower on the plants, except the auto. I'm afraid of touching it more than I have to. Also topped the Frisian Dew (The dense bush) and the two Frisian Ducks (Tall bushes) in several places to keep them a bit shorter in flowering, hopefully. Both ground...

Europeans, what do you use for pest control in veg and flower?

Most of the advice I see is from Americans to Americans, so often products recommended aren't available in Europe or we'd have to pay a lot to import from American stores, which seems like overkill. So I wondered what products you Europeans all use and where you get them from. I use Neem oil...

New grower: Nute burn or something else?

I think it's also viable only to give nutrients on every other watering. But more than that and you're asking for deficiencies. I made the same mistake last year, watering my coco like it was soil, and ended up with loads of deficiencies. Coco doesn't hold nutrients as well as soil does.

New grower: Nute burn or something else?

Are they in coco? If so you should be feeding every time you water
