Thanks but there are some folks on here that have already built the larger 35 bottle units. I was looking for their advice based on experience.

It makes sense. I do it differently. When I first load up the fridge I am set to 75% with 1% buffer. Each day I lower it by 1% until I reach 60%. I leave it there for as long as I want but I know its ready to bag when my average is consistently 60% without any high spikes.

I suspect you need to calibrate the new one.

I'm contemplating building a second unit. First one I did with the smaller Koolatron. I see since then you guys have been hard at work making larger ones. I found a 35 bottle unit on Amazon for $249. With those larger fridges do you use 2 dehumidifiers?

The way I do it is watch the history of my RH. If I have my fridge set at 60 and the average is 60 for a couple of days I know its ready to go.

Check to make sure its actually draining. I had an issue where my RH was going up and it was because it wasn't on level ground and was tilting forward a bit causing the water from the dehumidifier to collect on the floor of the fridge and not drain causing the humidity to raise. Granted I had...

That hay smell is chlorophyl breaking down. Give it time and keep stepping down the RH and that hay smell should start to go away.

I can share my experience. After I figured out how to ensure the water from the dehumidifier was draining correctly I set my initial target RH to 75% and Temp to 55F with 1% buffer. I decreased the humidity 1% each day for 15 days to get it down to 60% and have let it ride there ever since...

I had to tilt my fridge back to get a good constant drain. I also removed the drain tray raised up the fridge with side braces and installed a drain hose into a gallon jug.

Stumbled onto something today I wanted to share. I did my 15 day dry and have been letting it ride for another 15 days at 60rh. I prepped about 1/2 oz to roll on my large raw rolling tray and wanted to take a break before I started rolling. The tray fits perfectly into the Koolatrol shelf...

Very cool. Would like to learn more about this for future dry runs!

I'm not done yet but its been working nicely. I started out at 55F/75RH. In the AC Infinity app I did Advanced Automations and set the target RH to 75% with 1% buffer. I reduced the target by 1% each day (66% as of today) and once it reaches 60% I will let it sit there until it flatlines at...

Things are still going strong. 8 days in and just set the RH target to 66. So much better than trying to fight the heat and dry during these hot days in my garage.

I will eventually mount my AC Infinity controller to the front of the fridge near the temperature readout. Right now its just on its stand on the top of the fridge.

I got some guidance from hook and I started at 55deg/75%rh and am stepping down 1% each day it's going good. I had a small issue early where the water wasn't draining because of the fridge sloping forward but other than that I'm stoked! Attached is the last hour.. I started the process Sunday night.

I started my dry on Sunday at 55/75. I've been lowering humidity by 1 each day. Had a couple of hiccups like water not draining properly and not knowing how to add my 1 buffer. I think I'm on track now. Should be going down to 55/72 today. Thoughts?
