What a brutal summer. After everything else, I'm getting gale force winds from the SE for the third day running. Already broke a branch off a plant and has three more leaning. I tried to stake one straight but the wind is to much for the stake support. Bad thing is, it's sativa and needs...
Tough year. Now just have to kill worms. Hope I beat the frost.

Royal Gorilla, Mantuska Thunderfuck, Apple Betty, Hawaiian Snow, Super Lemon Haze, Skunk #1, Durban Poison, Durban Poison top. I guess this is the start of worm season. I picked four little bastards off the Durban Poison top this morning.
They are still damp. We had three days of POURING rain and some light rain after. Monsoons can really open up the clouds. The Hawaiian Gold is just a lean tall plant.
The monsoon finally hit and we got 3 straight days of rain. First rain in forever. The plants seemed to like it.

I'm almost embarrassed by mine looking at some of the other pics but it's been a brutal summer here so far.

It's been a brutal grow so far this year. Between battling extreme wind at the beginning, to the 100 plus degree heat. No rain at all. Plants are way behind where I was last year. Apple Betty, Hawaiian Gold, Amnesia Auto, Durban Poison, Skunk #1.
The four tractor tires allows roots in the ground but can't do anything about the containers. Never had this many consecutive days of heat to deal with before.
Four are in tractor tires and the rest are in 100 gallon gallon fabric pots. I never thought about mulching them. I have a old hay bale, I may try that. Weather forecast calls for 100+ degree days for as far as the eye can see.
All my outdoor plants are suffering from something else. Haven't seen rain in monhs but it's 100 degrees plus evey day. I water twice daily but some of the plants still aren't happy. I'd gladly trade some of this sun for cooler temps and some rain.
