I ran into this and got small seeds in the crop that had it. The exit ducting let a bit of light in. I didn't notice anything while they were growing, but when smoking I found a few small seeds. Nothing terrible, but I think the light caused it. I fixed it and didn't see them in any crop afterwards.

I think you should cut your losses with this plant and just let it finish rather than try to bend it/LST it now. This is a good lesson to show you how the plant will build itself with no training at all. Next round, you'll want to bend the plant over and force it to make more top bud sites...

I recently purchased a watering can with a longer, curved spout. It lets me get to the harder to reach plants without disturbing the others. Plus, the "shower" setting (instead of "spout") waters them nice and slowly preventing the other problem you are dealing it.

Should be the same as any other time, try and get the least budded offshoot from the very bottom. It will take longer but you'll have a bushier/branchier clone. Perfect time to try some LST!
