Heat is also not an issue w/ the Fluorex.... runs no hotter than the 3 shoplights it takes to equal the lumens. Wiring is as easy as buying a lamp replacement kit from walmart and twisting the 2 connections together. The kit is simply an extension chord without the female end... 2 bare wires...

i had 2 of the same shoplights from walmart and 1 of them did the same thing. Thinking it was possibly heat related, I turned 1 of the lights around so the ballast was on the opposite end. 1 ballast at each end of the closet. Dont know if thats what it was but it fixed the problem for the rest...
