I understand where to cut, just not sure at what node when mainlining considering the 3rd node on one of the plants is rather close to the soil. I don't think it'd look right. Idk. @Drug
What's up guys, four plants ready to top I presume, mainlining is the plan. "Top at the 3rd node" do I count the first set of leaves (above cotyledons) as a node, even though they "died off"? Stem would seem kinda short imo.
Nice info! The plan is to mainline the 4 girls due to limited room in tent, they're on their 6-7th node (counting the fallen first node). Now when they say "top down to the third node" do I count the fallen first set as well? The stem would look really short imo, would it still be ok?
Thanks for all the good advice guys! @WDIK let me correct myself, out of the four plants, one was fed 2x earlier than the other three, which were fed 2x as well.
So should they be left alone and just watered, or would a flush be the way to go?
What's up guys, having a little trouble. All was going well until about the 5th-6th set of true leaves. The cotelydons fell off which I read is normal, then the set of leaves right above them began yellowing and fell as well. At least not on all four plants but on one of them I noticed the...
Thanks man, when would be a good time to transplant the girls from the solos? I was thinking once they have 5-6 nodes and ready to start being mainlined.
What's up guys, I just wanted to know what size containers would be recommended for Main-Lining. I currently have my one week old seedlings in 16 oz solo cups inside of a 4' x 2' x 5' grow tent. I plan on transplanting them into smart pots but not sure what sizes to buy. 1 gallon then flower in...
