a friend of mine has a 400 watt hps growing a couple of plants. one is blueberry he says... and is flowering for 2 weeks. he told me that there is a red "flower" coming out of the top of the plant. anyone heard of such a thing?

just got a el cheapo HPS from home depot. 70 watter... i think it will do just fine. i had to rewire it myself, but it seriously took me 5 minutes to cut the end of a extension cord and splice the white, to white, the black to black, and the grounds. i also got 2 42watt cfls over each plant...

yea... i put small rocks over the holes on the bottom of my pots. helps for drainage... even says to do so on the directions on some soils.

im in day 17 of flowering and your plant is on the same path as mine, mine proved itself female on day 13 of flowering. good luck with your grow... things are looking great.
