I have multiple strip builds using Eb gen2 and they are great. Lot more work to build overall but I really enjoy that part so it’s great. I use strictly Bridgelux strips so I don’t have any experience with Sammy’s. Boards are easier to setup tho

It’s all personal preference. Diff answer for every person. Atreum products have proven themselves many times over. 3rd party tested and by LEDG. I have several of their boards and their awesome.

Atreum lighting also has genuine products for a bit cheaper then HLG. Less but not by much, because it costs $ in order to actually make boards like this, with genuine top bin diodes. HLG or Atreum. Never that stanky doo doo.

What do you mean by didn’t think they got that high? And internal temp? Recorded temp at the back of each strip.

I run 1ft Eb2s at 500mA On 1/8 x 14 x 1.5” aluminum strips using cheap amazon thermal tape Ambient temp 69F Strips barely rose above 105F I read the entire Eb thermals thread before I started building and wasn’t worried one bit. This build has performed beautifully.
