the leafs don't respond to green light roots are different. They should be not exposed to light. I cover the bottle totally to protect the roots. this method is for hydroponics not soil based systems.

the method woorks fine. I'am on my 7th crop useing pvc 3/4 inch id and 2 liter bottles. Once the plant gets 14-16 inches high I switch the lights and feeding to grow HUGE buds. Works great in small rooms ect. sliderman001
