    Heating Weed Before Tincture??!

    I currently have a tincture in the making ( Day 3 ), I am using bacardi 151 which is 75% (750ML) and i put about 42+ grams in. I didn't heat up anything, So I was wondering will this affect the end product and did I waste my time?
