For vegging, not that ur light wouldn't work, but it wouldn't work EFFECTIVELY. Now, that said, don't throw that light away as u can use it for flowering. Look for some 'daylight' cfl's on the bulb-base itself, and sometimes the package, it will tell u the color temp, what ur lookin for, for...

From my experience, 24/7 and 18/6 affect nothing but ur power bill, but that's just me, so basically, i'm sayin ive personallly found no truth to 24/7 making them shorter. If u wanna use the most of ur 2feet of space, flower when theyre a foot tall or a bit less, and lst or top them or both.

10x10? u'll want the twin 1,000's but twin 6oo's'll do as well.

Heatwise, the cfl's will probly be hotter.... but then on the other hand, if u got those clamp on light deals from home depot, there could be an advantage in the actual placement of the cfl's vs. the tubes, IF U HAD SOMEWHERE TO CLAMP THEM, LOL...

.... ever thought of gettin two more of those tube setups? Then u'd have 4 tubes on both sides for sidelighting, and they give u more room than cfl's would imo.

Well, it's a neew year and the plants are comin along sweet! The one big plant in the pics is responding tremendously to my first lst with 10 soon-to-be-main colas, YUM! Also, my other two stragglers have found new life as well and look to be taking off finally. Anyone feel free to comment... ???

I'm no clone expert, but i believe u should've used just the root hormone, and put the hormone like 1-1/4in up the stem of the clone, then plant the clone an inch deep so there's 1/4in. ofthe mormone still above ground. Also, clones don't need a lot of light, try puttin it under a sigle fluro...
