im honestly too broke for anything other than aluminum foil actually..i just pasted it to 3 sides of my grow closet..how much should it help? p.s. im using the 42 watt cfl's maxx..not going to go any higher wattage than that. they each put out 2600 lumens anyways so its good. that shouldnt burn...

I've been running my little operation minus any sort of reflectors up until this point (like 2.5 weeks since they broke the soil)..does something like tinfoil really help that much? i dont have money for anything else really..dont know how cheap this mylar stuff is but im really quite low on...

out of this harvest i want to yield at the very least a quarter pound..hopefully closer to a half pound. would this be more possible with 2 plants or 4? remember that i really dont have much outward space available in that closet so 4 plants that are mostly cola might actually be comparable to...

i honestly just want as much bud as i can possibly yield..buut i think i want it fairly quickly too. but im willing to sacrifice time if it means yielding alot more you really think 2 big pots with 2 big plants will yield significantly more than 4 plants in my 2.5 galloners?

im planning to use about 4-5 40 watt daylight cfls (2600 lumens), and 2-3 40 watt normal cfls (a bit of red spectrum to go along with the blue) (2600 lumens each as well and im going to have to add more as the flowering moves along..i dont know how many cfl's i'll end up with eventually but i...

ok then i guess the thread isnt closed! the pots im using are 9 inches each in diameter..and the base is probably like 7 inches across..it doesnt taper that much anyways the comments from the brick top made me lean a bit more towards 2 bigger pots again. it seems there is a mix of opinions...

yeah if someone with experience running CFL's down the length of the plants once they get big could let me know how that went id appreciate it. youd think itd be really effective.. and as for mylar..what exactly is mylar? is it like a sheet material that i can tape to the wall? i guess you dont...

alrite..i think ive decided to just stick with the 4 2.5gallon pots. and grow relatively small plants and just harvest asap. for my 1st grow im cool with doing that..i'll try for monsters later haha. thanks for the help. this thread is closed :peace:;-)

ok, yeah i guess there isnt a ton more that can be said. looks like you can actually grow some pretty good sized healthy plants in pots my size or smaller what height would you say i should start flowering at in these 2.5 gallon-ers? 2 feet or so?

thanks for the positivity mygirls :arrow:ok so i did a bigtime transplant late on friday night. put the biggest 4 plants in 4 new 2.5ish gallon pots, and put the smallest 3 in their own seperate pots. here are the pics of the new setup. whatdyou think? :leaf::peace:

buuump. is it so hard to get a few intelligent opinions on whether or not i should go with 4 plants in 2.5 gallon pots or 2 plants in much bigger pots?:confused:
