Nevermind, I placed thermometer 4 inches from light to test it, and the heat was at 94.5 degrees!

Well, would I even need something to cool off the box? I ran the cfl for an hour and the temperature was around 77degrees inside the box? Also, does this mean that I can put the carbon filter anywhere in the box? Under plants/beside them even?
