Lenses/ Reflectors worth it for COB?

Sorry to dig up an old post, but I am wondering if I should be using the angilina 90 deg reflectors and little clear lenses. I am in an 8x8 tent. I have all my cobs spaced at about 15 inches apart. Seems like the reflectors give the best amount of light everywhere other than directly below...

    Top Drip in soil?

Thanks for the input goldberg. My plan is to run them like hand watering. So instead of a little everyday or at intervals daily I plan on just using them to water every 2 to 6 days depending on what part of the grow I'm in. So just like hand watering but without the damn can. Just turn on...

    Top Drip in soil?

It doesn't seem like the are clogged. I even took one off and had troubles getting the pump to prime. Then some would flow for a minute then stop. Maybe the pump is just a lemon. I hooked it up to my hose and hand nozzle and finished the watering and it did fine. I did however find some...

    Top Drip in soil?

So I decided to try running a top drip setup. My back was tired of the old watering can. I was going to go with a small 300 or 400 gph pump but the guy at the hydro store said it won't nearly have the flow or pressure to run a drip system. He suggested I buy a Eco 1500 elite pump that puts...

What kind of scope do u use

So I ordered the Zorb also to compare. The Zorb does not zoom in as close as the Zpix 300, but it definitely zooms in enough. I was having to use the Zpix on the lowest zoom to be able to hold it steady enough and get images and video that I could see. The Zorb has a little attachment cone...

    Fast Buds Green Crack Auto.

Dude. That 100w unit doesn't look like that much and won't provide much canopy coverage. For 1 sqm go 250w COB kit from Timber or the place in Australia.

    Second grow. Same issue

Good idea with the flood tables. Speaking of a flood. I got to go water. I may have to put some thought into some flood tables and a slight slope in the tent. Damn tissue hard to move around in there though so adding additional stuff on the floor will be a pain. It's difficult enough to...

    Second grow. Same issue

Damn I was hoping for an easier way to get rid of the excess water. Shop vac seems like a pita. Flowers look awesome. Lots of dead or dying leaves though. They should be done in the next week or less. I may snap a few photos when the lights come back on tonight.

    Fast Buds Green Crack Auto.

Get a 250w COB setup with 5 cobs and do a cross pattern like the dude who does the tutorials on COBs. Less heat and electricity.

    Second grow. Same issue

So I'm reading this thread again trying to make sure and grasp it all. Correct me if I have this wrong. I am supposed to water until I get 20% runoff. So if I use 1 gl of water on a plant I should have 1/5 gl of runoff in my saucer that my fabric pot is in? Then I am supposed to dispose of...

    Fast Buds Green Crack Auto.

Dang sucks you had to chop early. How was the yield? I am no expert but I did a ton of research on lights and COB's are the best light for the money I found. And arguably the best light.

What kind of scope do u use

I just got the Zpix 300. Havent had a chance to go in the tent because its nightime, but damn it seems hard to focus. How easy is the Zorb from Carson to focus on stuff?

A few questions getting better yields

No I'm not sure at all. I used the watch the hairs method to see when to chop.

A few questions getting better yields

Quality was good. Not the most dense nuts but theyou were strong. I didn't have a microscope to gauge when to chop so I just waited until over 2/3rds of the hairs got dark. This run I have a microscope to use to know when to chop.

A few questions getting better yields

I figured they were total pipe dreams. I also didn't think that I would be at or below the minimum claim because I had fairly nice looking plants. Just need to improve on my skills.

A few questions getting better yields

I completely agree and understand that. I am doing my best to read and learn. Never a magic bullet, but if I was obviously aiming in the wrong direction you guys would be able to maybe catch it. Sometimes us noobs miss some of the major things.

A few questions getting better yields

I grew tangiematic and six shooter and fast buds recommended 9 weeks on those two. I actually cut at almost 10 weeks. I would have to look at my notes but I thinknow it was 65 days. If you have a diary or log going I would love to check out the green crack.

A few questions getting better yields

Yeah I understand it varies. That is why I'm just asking for a rough estimate. Good technique and luck will make it shorter. Bad technique and luck longer. I just don't want to spend 12 weeks in veg and 8 weeks in flower to double the yield I can get in 8 weeks with some autos.

A few questions getting better yields

What would be a very rough realistic estimate for veg time to get 1g/watt with training etc? 4 weeks, 8 weeks, 10 weeks, 12 weeks.

A few questions getting better yields

Ok. My tent fills the area it's in so I may not be able to go too crazy with the SCROG because I won't be able to water and feed the stuff in the back because I won't be able to reach it. I have COB's from timber so I hope they are as good as everyone claims. 1g per watt of COB?
