I'm just curious if anyone has any experience with topping critical mass. I've read that certain strains don't respond well to topping.

I have the ebb 'n grow bucket setup. I'm using hydroton and 4 inch rockwool cubes in each bucket. Where should the rockwool cube sit in regards to the flood level? Should it sit just above the flood level? Or an inch or two into the flood level?
