Depends on the cause, could either be from worms or from mold, both are pretty much killers. You maybe be able to keep it going for a week longer but will surely get worse in that time. You might wanna just chop. Pics ?

Are you sure it’s heat stress, weed plants can actually handle a lot of heat

you need to water the entire pot with water till the soil is drenched. Then wait till dry and repeat. The way you’re doing it the entire root ball might not be getting watered
