when my buds are growing their nice and tight and compact but when they dry they go fluffy like.How do you get the buds to dry into tight,compact,hard buds?

ok ive changed my mind,iv'e got a light mover on order and i'm hoping for 16 plants 4-5 foot high,will 1000w be enough? and i want to veg about 35 plants to about 40-50cm high,whats the minimum watt light i could use to get nice healthy growth?

2 of mine done the same thing.all i did was stick a chopstick next to it to hold it up and put a fan on it.now the stem is thick as and can support itself.my problem was the light was to far away and i had no fan.i got a fan and dropped the light and all is good now.
