Leaves turning lighter green, some brown spots, vegetative stage

It's hungry for some real plant food. Find some generic 20-20-20 plant fertalizer or something that isn't "slow-release" at the hardware store or amazon. Give it a half dose and a week later if the leaves arn't dark green, give a full dose.

    Renewed Bonsai Interest

18/6 on/off to prevent flowering. 24hour light theoredically reduces stem stretch which is ideal for bonsai. Root trimming is important to keep everything compact. Low Stress Training and ruitine trimming of tops to stimulate growth.

New (aspiring) grower - A few stealth questions

    1. IMO. Tent is probably unnessisary to begin but put some money aside if everything goes well and you will require it. Building something out of wood and pandafilm is a LOT cheaper adaptible/sturdy. 2. If smell is a concern a tent may be nessisary from the get-go. You will need to vent...

    First grow should I flush?

Thats a leaf. Check your bud trichomes. Flushing isn't going to get rid of any impurities uptaken like heavy metals. I've smoked stuff that i speculate was high in PK booster. Crappy chem taste, fireworks, smell. Probably foliar fed though. Who knows..

    Gnat problem persists... please help

That fan looks super over-power.. If you use it to puil air, you might be able to add a realease-valve thingy.. just another hole so 1/2 the air is pulled from the tent, and the other is outside the tent to reduce the vaccume effect... you can ditch the input fan too.. it's bad for the motors to...

Iron deficiency? Light bleaching? Please help!

8" away for the CFL is fine, too far if anything. As for LED, no clue.. Plant looks pretty normal. That tops should almost always be a bit yellow like that (iron chlorosis) if your soil is properly ammended with lime, except during aggressive feeding. 100W or (probably 23W actual - "100W...

    Gnat problem persists... please help

Yup, if the soil is staying wet for more than 2 days it's over watered. If they aren't auto's then wait it out. Thought i read auto in the other thread. They will recover eventually. The soil and pot size are an issue for sure but they should catch up. Better soil and loads of perlite mixed...

    Gnat problem persists... please help

Gnatrol or Masquito dunks are supposedly 100% effective by people that used them. As long as you get the soil moisture in check. It seems like you are growing auto's though, so probably just start over, prefereably with photo seeds(my bias). ^^read your update.. water once a week is bad...

    Best seed supplier with acmpr

LPs all obtained heir shit illegally. Once you have your ACMPR, your inventory becomes legal IMO. it's a gray area.. Edit: Most of their strains are just chinabud 2.0 - spicey -puke-fruit smelling shit with no taste, no sticky, just powdery, light green garbage with no skunk. And i heard it...

400 ballast is mh or hps?

Funny, I'm opting for an old Hortilux bulb now too that's gone 1 or 2 runs-ish; I forget. The only new one I have is a Vivosun that came with a kit.

400 ballast is mh or hps?

HPS igniitors are like 15$. Not sure howmuch conversion bulbs are, but i recall hearing they are less efficient. Wouldn't it be possible to throw an ignitor in there or does an MH ballast not have the extra (blue?) wire for it?

    Jacks vs Masterblend vs ?

Any of these available in canada without crazy shipping? I think Plant Prod has similar products but ordering doesn't seem easy. I'd settle for some 20-20-20 and MKP. Amazon.ca sucks

400 ballast is mh or hps?

Look inside. HPS will have an ignighter.

    25 gallon DIY (or bigger/smaller) automatic watering that's changeable/expandable for under $100

+1 on the black tubing. Also I'm finding putting a layer or rocks/gravel ontop of the perlite seems to be the most practical way to prevent algae without screweing with covers and tinfoil. Will prevent floating away too for flood n' drain.

    Am I doing it right?

Tie a support opposite to the direction bening on the main "trunk" or 4 supports all around. So when you bend it, it pulls less on the roots. Also bend more like mentioned.. I've gone too "low stress" on the training part before and the plant didn't respond enough, no additional auxillary...
