    pics included...what are these

They are beneficial insects, springtails. They break down dead material and fungus, yeast etc. Shouldn't have used chemicals till you knew what they were.

    SIP thread -- (Sub-Irrigated Planter)

Got some roots poking thru. they look to be getting air trimmed. When I put in the airstones I think the roots will grow into the reservior. What ph should you add nutes to the res? Should I just shoot for 6.3? Seems hydroponics uses a lower ph to make it available to the roots? I added...

Making Seeds and a Pretty Fat Auto Bud.

Look it up or experience it if you aren't sure and we'll get along fine. You are supposed to use rice or dessicator crystals before storing pollen adn it can last well over a year in the freezer although a little degraded it still works up to 2 years, for me at least.

All you can do is try. Possibly still good if it was really dry. It stores longer in the freezer. Over a year.

Making Seeds and a Pretty Fat Auto Bud.

First off, I have been breeding cannabis for over 30 years and have seen patterns myself. Secondly, there has been work done and simple mathematics can tell you a lot about the genetics if you grow test groups and can count. Any hermied plant of any of the types of hermaphroditism used in...

Making Seeds and a Pretty Fat Auto Bud.

Like this last run I did. walker, gg#4 and plushberry that I made from late male flowers and stardust sherbet all hermied but the pre 98 bubba, tahoe og and deathstar didn't hermie. Those are the plants I'd use for a breeding program and the other lines wouldve never seen their name on a pack...

Read up on cannabis hermaphrodites. Some of your info is true and some just shows you haven't done your homework. There are different types of hermies which give 50% the same type of hermies in the resultant offspring. One type is throwing full male flowers at the bottom of the plant. One...

I did. I even quoted it. Hermaphroditism is the term of ANY female plant throwing male flowers if the plant is diecious. Bananas, full male flowers, if they occur on a female pot plant it's hermaphroditism in one of it's many forms.

Pollen isn't all the same. there are many different forms of hermaphroditism. You'd never want to use a full on hermaphrodite that isn't induced by stress to pollinate plants if you want to use the seeds. The ones that are hardest to get to make male flowers are the best to use for pollinating...

That stuff has to be re applied or it gets used up in the plant from what I read.

    Bad infestation garden reset?

Ya mites aren't causing the yellowing leaves. You either got low on N at some point or have ph issues or ?

There are numerous types of hermaphroditism. I personally like the ones like the GG#4 which throws a few full flowers towards the bottom of the plant. If she finishes well outdoors you can get a few selfed seed in the bottom buds for next season and the rest of the plants is clean to smoke...

Making Seeds and a Pretty Fat Auto Bud.

Just had a monster plushberry get bananas thruought and had to chop her down. SHe was made from a plushberry that had about 10 or so bananas from going late. Made 3 seeds and didn't have this problem with a sister seed. Think it was from PH going too low but it was still devastating chopping...

    Bad infestation garden reset?

None of that stuff(plant damage) should be from the mites. They feed off decaying material. They come from soil, outside, other house plants, etc. They're everywhere. They multiply like that when they have a food source like dry amendments, compost, leaves, etc. Used to see blooms of them...

    Bad infestation garden reset?

Compost mites. They'll die back when the stuff they are feeding off of does.

Does anyone put down paper towels to line the grow box so the soil mix doesn't fall thru the holes?

    SHOW OFF YOUR SET UP

Some pics of the rest of the basement. Don't know if I can describe it right for you to get layout but basically I divided the basement in half lengthwise. There is on entrance into the trim room/office and another entrance at the end of the basement directly into the flowering room in between...

    SIP thread -- (Sub-Irrigated Planter)

Got 10 grow box's on the way. I am using an amended ffof mix. I added 1/2 cup garden tone and 1/2 plant tone and about 1 cup prilled lime and 1/2cup oyster shell per bag to add some extra nutes in to start. Last batch in 5 gal buckets started to drift in PH to the 6 range or maybe a little...

    SHOW OFF YOUR SET UP

Thank you very much. It is easier to get around in. Doesn't produce as much as it used to, I used to cram them in but it just makes for more work and lots of smaller bottom buds.
