    streetlights?

It Its not really that the light is halved for every foot, it's more of a relative relationship between the light and the object regardless of unit of measure. For example, a light shining on an object 8 feet away is 4 times as strong as a light with identical output that is 16 feet away...

Sounds great. Are you in GTA area? In fact I'd love to see how same genetics does indoors. And maybe we could compare my outdoor bud to your indoor stuff once she's done. Would be an interesting mother - daughter taste test :bigjoint:

Thanks Don. It actually shows lighter in that picture. Prob cause I set it in the sunlight just to take that pic. It does smell just like you said. As for letting off gas, it's very hard to tell. I'm going to use some cheesecloth to strain it and just monitor it and occasionally open it up...

    Canada grow log 2016

Off-topic, but figured I'd post it here since you guys/gals are local... When I was trimming my plant a few weeks back, I started some clones just because, well why not. Most of them died because my rooting hormone gel had gone bad, but as an experiment, I used honey to root one of them and it...

So it's been 2 weeks since I started brewing the fermented fruit bloom fertilizer and this is what it looks like: So Don or anyone else, do you think I should strain it out now? What should I use for that? I'm thinking cheese cloth. Think it's ready to use or should it sit for a couple weeks...

Are you in BLOOM Yet? Tis the month!

Ok not saying you are incorrect, but it doesn't sound like you've ever done any experiments to come to that conclusion. What I mean is that despite pinhole leaks etc, you were always happy with your results, but how do you know that it wouldn't have been a better crop without that dark-time...

Are you in BLOOM Yet? Tis the month!

Good to hear. I've read so many conflicting things about the duration and intensity thresholds of phytochrome sensitivity to light that I tend to err on the side of caution. Are you speaking from experience, learned knowledge, both?

Are you in BLOOM Yet? Tis the month!

If it's switched to flowering stage, you probably don't want to be taking pics at night - that's a mighty bright light!

    The RIU pumpkin boasting thread.

Mmmmm Venison A damn groundhog chewed on mine last year after I'd got rid of all but that one pumpkin. I was able to pollinate another fruit, but it was by then a late start and farther down the vine than I wanted. After that I made a cage for it with a cut-out for the stem. Once the fruit...
