    The Ultimate Odour Control Thread

Hi guys! Has anyone of you ever tried Ram filters? It's difficult to find Rhino or Phresh filter where I live and to order them the shipping fee it's 50 to 60% of the filter's value. So, do you have any feedback about those filters?

Wait...am I the only crazy one?

No it looks like the mathematical formula is considering a lamp as a light source

Wait...am I the only crazy one?

I was thinking about it and knowing a little of mathematic and physic probably the spreadsheet consider the light source as point-like which is not

Wait...am I the only crazy one?

I'm probably going to regret this  But I've found a spreadsheet to convert lumen to lux. You have to insert: -the lumen value, in this case 2250 -the angular emission that for this led strip is 120° -The distance from the light source which in my case was 0,1 meter The result is 71619.724...

Wait...am I the only crazy one?

The test I did was probably at 9.30 a.m one week ago so the sun wasn't at its peak but with the same camera setting 50 ISO, 1/250 of second(the f doesn't even matter) and the subject had the right exposure in both photos. Of course the photo taken outside was a bit brighter but not a night and...

Wait...am I the only crazy one?

My attempt to figure out if the light is enough, was taking a picture of something inside the grow room and than doing the same outside in bright daylight. The result was(i'm not going to talk about ISO and shutter speed) that with the same camera setting i got almost the same exactly result...

Pots: when the wrong size it's just right for you.

At the moment the volume of the pot it's a "question mark". I'm dealing with Royal Dwarf so the ideal size would be around 1,5 gallons or 5,7 liters. I'm still figuring out what I'm going to do. But becouse I've seen growing diaries of Royald Dwarf were plants were growing huge for an...

Pots: when the wrong size it's just right for you.

But again, the topic here is how to chose the pot size to prevent the plant to grow to much for our necessity. For example I saw different folks growing autoflowering strain in 2,5 liters pot which is 0,6-0,7 gallons and they manage to have a small compact plant that still gave a fair amount of...

Wait...am I the only crazy one?

Canibas, i've seen plants with some branches that have grown over the light panel and continue to grow buds even if they weren't under the light no more. You could try to simply "move them out of the way" without bending them, so you can keep the light lower. Anyway, I'm probably not the one who...

Pots: when the wrong size it's just right for you.

Pots: when the wrong size it's just right for you.

I'm using simple led stripes i've bought on amazon. With those i could probably keep my light panel really close to my plant without hurting her.

Micro, very sthealthy, grow room...help me out!

Hi a thank you for the suggestion. The fan in the picture is not dimmable, but I have already found another one which is almost identical but dimmable. The idea of a temperature sensor it's interesting i'll try to find some more info about that. But I think it will be ok if I set it to a low...

Of course you are happy Canlba, you are doing an amazing job! Your plantls look really good! Our setup it is almost the same but I only have 7 meters strip for Veg and I think your led is more dens, like 120 led/m and mine is 60 led/m for vegetation.my problem is that I only have 76 cm in...

Pots: when the wrong size it's just right for you.

That is exactly what i'm going to do especially because my grow room it's only 27" in height and only the filter takes 25% of the total height. I was thinking about a low wide pot...not yet sure about the volume...not more then 1 gallon, probably less.

Wait...am I the only crazy one?

I had to search some more info because you can't always trust what you read on Amazon. The stripes are both 12V. About the Flowering side this is what I've just find out. The strip is 5 meters with 600 led SMD 2835 2700K and here are the real data: -5 W/m -140 lm/w Which means 25 Watt for 3500...

Pots: when the wrong size it's just right for you.

Ok guys here is what I would like to hear from you. I think most of us, if not everybody, know the "rule of thumb" behind chosing the right pot size for the strain we are going to grow. But today I'm here because I would like to hear some feedback from those of you that didn't need the right...

Wait...am I the only crazy one?

I'm not buying anything, I already have my setup. I only was wondering if I'm the only one that is trying this out. I'm sure those led module are super good, but for 3000 lumen, which should be totally fine for a 1x1 foot grow room, i prefer to have 16 evenly separated stripes instead of 3...

Wait...am I the only crazy one?

I swear...i did search...i did search a lot. Am I the only one trying to grow under some god damn common, simple, affordable, easy to find, motherfucking amazon led stripes?  I went trough dozen of "LED and other light" thred pages and I've only found topics with 600W grow led...
