    New LED lights stretching

Yeah sorry the lights in the topic are 125x2 so 250W, but I'm gonna keep my veg LED aswell which gives 115W more. For 365W total.

I find it hard to believe that they wouldn't be better watt per watt. 1x1m.

    New LED lights stretching

I'm sure I missed some of the atleast somewhat related discussion :) Small note on the original light of the topic. 1 COB unit has 60x3W diodes, so my 1 unit has 360W of diodes and 2x of them so 720W of diodes ran at 250W(125W each). And no I didn't pay 500e for them :) I'm probably just...

I don't care about your opinion son :)

Yeah, sit down son. I didn't pay 500e for them.

    New LED lights stretching

Not sure why would you use candelas as a unit for plant lights? Stuff getting sidetracked, it doesn't really matter if they compare to 400W HPS or 600W HPS.. It's about the plant shape.

    New LED lights stretching

1x LED take 125W of electricity, they came with advertisement that one would be close to 380W HID.

    New LED lights stretching

I found numbers for the LEDs, 1345 Umol/300mm. For HPS Photon flux PAR PPF (100 h): 1000 µmol/s. Not quite sure if the numbers are comparable. But I've grown with 250W and 400W HPS before, so I don't think this is from the lack of light. Also the growth speed during veg and early bloom doesn't...

    New LED lights stretching

Mm, I thought the HPS barely has any far-red? As for the PAR output, I dont have meter. But the 2x LEDs are 125W each. So I reckon they should have bit more PAR output than the HPS.

    New LED lights stretching

Yet if you look at the plants at 3½weeks of flower, there isn't a sign of nitrogen excess. But the stretch has already happened..

    New LED lights stretching

Hmm, thank you for your input! I see what you are saying about the far-red-red ratio. And I can't say I have good grasp on how much the ratio should be for plant like cannabis which enjoys high amounts of light. But I've been running same clones for few runs now. And this LED setup is...

    New LED lights stretching

Well, since there is not much discussion on the spectrum part, I'll leave this with few pointers I found out. If there is too high far-red ratio to red spectrum, it will increase stretching as the plants think they are in shade. Blue spectrum keeps the plant compact. Higher night temps than...

    Deficiencies Again...Ugh

Should be good on the pH department then. And yes mix all nutes in the same feed, just don't mix them in their concentrated forms. Add them separately in to the water.

    Deficiencies Again...Ugh

Like above, stick with tap water unless there is really something wrong with it, often you just need to have an idea of how hard the water is so you know how much cal-mag you need from fertilizer. As for the flushing part, if something goes wrong and you end up locking out, then you could flush...

    New LED lights stretching

Found a photo of them at 3½weeks of flower. At this point I had much excitement :) I was already then suspecting the spectrum thing but kinda hoped they would fill up. Now I just want to figure out way to limit that stretch during 1-3weeks of flower.

    New LED lights stretching

I agree that excess nitrogen can induce some stretching and airy buds which could look like something like this. Clawing could also be from nitrogen or general overfert. I'm not quite convinced that this is from nitrogen only atleast. The leaves aren't that dark green nor shiny and I haven't...

    New LED lights stretching

Yes, some stretch is and some isn't. This is definatly spectrum issue since these are clones I've grown under 600W HPS and they didn't stretch half that much. *edit @ 8weeks flower out of 9-10

    New LED lights stretching

Hey guys, as the title says I'm having too much stretching with my new LED's. Below is their spectrum. I'm thinking the stretch is because of the far-red spectrum. So how would you suggest I could control the stretch best? I have 1x mostly blue LED, could it help with swapping the blue one to...

    Deficiencies Again...Ugh

It's more of a balance on how much moisture a container can hold without depriving it from nutrients/oxygen (from being too wet). Like too much drainage and there is plenty oxygen and virtually no way you could overwater, but then again it dries up too fast. But then again, too soggy...

    Deficiencies Again...Ugh

Those gnats can be very annoying and stress the plant out even if it's well established plant. There is some stuff u can pour to try get rid of the larvae, but most important thing to keep them away/and even get rid of them is to let the top soil dry out, which is where the larvae and eggs are...
