Well I am just using my Dad's phototron for a grow box and I use 3 40W fluorescent U-shaped horizontal bulbs with neutral color spectrum but are very close to cool white and since I put these new bulbs in ,I have a grow that's actually going past the cotyledon leaves so it was a good choice

Also I am very green and what is the best way to use it diluted with water misting the leaves or watering the solution directly to the soil?

It is topped off with an inch or two or sphagnum moss but it's all soil and it's because it's extremely dry where I live and I don't have the money for a tent yet just getting started

Forgot to mention that I am growing indoors with soil and no nutrients added yet just watering her every other day and I am noticing that she's been using up more water and probably have to water every day!?

I just got 3 new 40W fluorescent U-shaped bulbs and I am sorry but I don't understand what you mean. Each one puts out 40watts of neutral colored spectrum and I know that t12/t8 are older and I am just on my third attempt at growing so I apologize for not understanding

So do you think that it's OK or possibly need to change anything

So I am currently on day 9 since the cotyledon leaves opened up and it's just barely visible but she's finally getting the second set of leaves. I am using 3 40w fluorescent U-shaped lights and the grow medium is soil and I am stumped with the slow growth.
