It may be over watering. I only water my plants that often when they've outgrown their container, or maybe during mid flower.
I guess it depends on how much you are watering.
My plants are exposed to a bit of wind here. It's not always like this, but my wind breaks aren't helping all that much when it does get strong.
They are all supported by raised rings and/or scrog-style matrices and seem to be doing OK. The stems are getting pretty big and I haven't had...
I can definitely see a lot more than is visible in the gif above, but this is an old scope. I didn't mention the type of scope I'm using? Anyway, I'll have to make due with what I have. A new, expensive scope and college courses aren't in the cards right now.
I am educating myself the best I...
Cool. I had read up about the kratky method then forgot some of the details. I think I'll give that a try. You'll need to keep the light out of the res, yes? Any issues with growth in the res?
Here is the nursery corner of the tent, where round two is starting :
I topped the Snake Oil:
Things outside are looking great. I've recently been able to sex the remainder of these plants, and they are all girls!
So now we have one Orange Blossom Special and one Sky Dweller in the...
Time for a bit of a update. For mostly financial reasons, I did an initial harvest from the Bubblegum and White Widow.
BG:
WW:
Most of the bud is still left on the plants, but I've got some nice stock now dried out and beginning to cure. I'll get a weight soon, but I've got about 3/4 Oz...
I'm not a fan of MG products, but I have to say, you plant is looking very happy!
I'm just finishing my first indoor grow and getting started on my second round. You've convinced me to try a Kratky Hydro experiment like you've got there. I already have a bunch of Megacrop so I'll be using that...
Doesn't look ready yet. You have a lot of fresh white pistils, and the leaves haven't changed at all.
Can you find a magnifier with which to check trichomes? That's the best way to determine maturity.
Looking healthy!
Hello all. I've learned a lot here and I hope to not only learn more, but to help educate others as well.
I'm here today because I'm super stoked. I mixed up my super soil the other day, and while I am trying to be patient to let it cook, my curiosity is running overdrive.
Here is my formula...
Yuuuuup!
I took another look, and even though I had been looking closely, and often, before and never saw any, now I'm seeing amber trichomes everywhere!
The WW and BG both have approx 5% amber trichomes, by my estimation. None on the NL yet. I guess I had to train my eyes to find them, but now...
The Northern Lights is starting to show some brown spotting / yellowing of a few seemingly random leaves. I bumped up the nutes from 2g/G to 3g/G of MC to see if that helps.
This below is my first ever successful clone! The cutting was taken from a Sky Dweller, a lower branch while the...
Thanks!
It's time to start flushing my Bubblegum and White Widow, but my Northern Lights is behind them, and is starting to show some deficiency. Maybe calcium, and I wouldn't be surprised as it's getting a low dose of Megacrop. I'm going to increase MC and CalMag for that one today.
Time for an update!
I have moved both the Cheese and Orange Blossom Special #4 outside. And today it's raining. They don't seem to mind too much. They both were transplanted into 5G fabric pots with FFOF/Coco Loco (because that is what they were already in - I don't plan on using FFOF any more...
Also, since I saw progressive symptoms on my Bubblegum plant, I decided to do a foliar spray night before last for the WW and BG of kelp meal tea and CalMag.
I guess it's too early to tell, but symptoms may have been halted.
I'm just trying to make sure I'm not in a pH lockout, but my runoff...
I'm a newbie, so it's entirety possible I'm misdiagnosing another problem, but that is my current diagnosis! I have read elsewhere that the WW is a very hungry cultivar. I kept on seeing the progression of symptoms that line up with a CalMag deficit, even after adding more and more.
I hardly...
I recently measured my leaf surface temperature. Most were pretty consistent at 75-76 but the buds on top of the Bubblegum reached 80 deg F.
The tent has the current conditions (while flowering) :
Temp: 68-83 deg F
Humid: 40-55%
Light cycle: 18/6 @full power - 240W
