Have you considered the ease of soil for your first time? It's not that I don't think you can grow in coco or hydro... but reading through the beginner mistakes really makes me wonder if one should "begin their journey" with those systems.

Only pluck leaves that have lost 60% or more of their chlorophyll either through yellowing or some form of necrosis. Always tuck down when possible. Unless you notice an airflow problem that is causing necrosis there is no reason to pluck a healthy leaf.

I'm just saying that I had a hard time with that particular humidifier because it would go up to 99% RH even when set to 60% if inside the tent. Ultimately it led to water leaking into base where the electronics are. I bought a new one and set it outside the tent with my carbon filter sucking in...

If you're talking about the one that's digital I've had it before. It's a good humidifier but I'd recommend running outside of a grow tent to avoid humidity spikes that can clog your carbon filter.

I've chopped at 6 weeks before. Hay taste comes down to a fast dry/improper cure. You can get amazing flavor and taste even if your plant isn't quite ready if you cure it right.

Well yeah if you're just hitting a trimmed plant with more light that's obviously just more light. What I described was using side lighting to grow out stuff you'd normally remove and giving that stuff inferior light. In that situation you are losing energy in two ways.

I still wonder whether it's worth keeping the growth below the canopy if your side lighting isn't as bright. If side lighting is the same as the top sure but any less and you lose energy at both ends pulling out growth at a lower node to receive less light.

Overall epsom salt would only help here. S and Mg during flower are good things. Why are you acting like I just told him to add bleach or something? God damn.

Its calmag deficiency. If you're worried about nitrogen in flower use 1tsp epsom salt to a gallon of water. It won't fix the leaf but it wont spread further.
