keep reading, it a long read but it states prop 215 is still in effect and the judge wont go by prop 64. it also limit possession to 8 oz for medical users.

i wouldnt spend too much on a big planter a 10 or 20 gallon planter should work fine unless your going directly inro a soil bed. remember to water daily or every two days. the hotter it is (its summer atm) the more you should watch your plants. as far as pesticides you could use oils for pest.
