Thinking of changing my plant to vert with my 600w before I flower. Got a 1.2m x 1.2m x 2m tent. This enough for say 3 plants in coco? How close can they get to the bulb before problems occur? There a safe zone? Cheers guys

Hello, i have the same tent with 4 big plants. 10 would be possible bit be very small SOG style. Also 2x 600w is overkill IMO. I have trouble cooling one 600w. Go with 1x 1k if you must tops. Just my opinion and remember summers coming up so cooling is a bitch.

Also has how much nutrient you feeding? Because as no one has mentioned (may have missed it) he is not using soul but CoCo Coir. You need to treat it like hydroponics. Get soil and start again. Soil much easier.

Why are you only aiming for 70/80% cloudy. Got long time left which won't help cutting back the nutes. Why you cut back the nutes?

I wouldn't grow above 3ft ish fully complete with a 400w. 400w are good but lack more than couple ft penetration. You wouldn't gain much more growing them bigger, just extra popcorn bud. Keep them short, topped, maybe a good scrog.

Neither. Just go buy cfl from local DIY shop. They cost nothing.
