whats the best way to germinate seeds?

Keep it simple. Damp paper towel folded and dark in a solo cup covered. not wet. as soon as the crack and show a root - get in soil. I have put in solo cup with a plastic bag over top with rubber band. then I can put on top of my LED heat sink to give it a 80 degree warmer.

    Brown/Gold Spots on fan leaves

I see so many times folks see "Cal-Mag" Deficiency and add more Cal-mag and get no result. The plant not taking up Calcium and or Magnesium is a symptom of an underlying problem. Too much Potassium will lock out Cal-Mag and a few other micronutrients. This is common with many growers. They...

    Advanced Nutrients are great!!!

Holy War and Peace Batman, you wrote a book. I try lots of things - in fact I am not a fan of AN Price, Marketing and hidden online ingredients. I was given their organic line and have been using it on a few plants and just noticed the ORGANICS is not PH PERFECT - not a big deal for me as we...

    Cannarado genetics

We always pack our seeds with 2 extras in a pack of 5. We tell Amish Andy (our packer) to include an extra seed. He counts on his left hand and he has two thumbs, hence the extra 2 for every five he counts.

Why are blacks from the states so much different.

It has nothing to do with American Blacks - it has everything to do with American Culture. Poverty in America is big business, it allows for the rich to get richer. There is only one way out of poverty. "Work your fanny off", be it educations, grunt work or gaining marketable skills. In America...

    Flushing With Tap Water?

I never flush. Actually I rarely water to much run off. I don't flush because I feed the soil - we never use chemical ferts - well occasionally after transplanting to get a quick growth spurt. I then can recycle the soil with some additives. God gave us Feather, Bone, Alfalfa,Kelp fish meals to...

    Happy frog fert

I have tried many "Dry" Natural/Organic fertilizers in my soil. Aside from the N-P-K being different - keep in mind How Fast It Breaks down is key. Some can be broken down in 2-3 weeks and others can take 2-3 months to breakdown. I have found Happy Frog, Down to Earth and Coast of Maine break...

    Happy frog fert

Time Release??...Happy Frog Fruit & Flower is slow release because it is all organic. Or "Natural". Not like miracle grow chemicals..what you are doing is feeding the soil. I have found it is good stuff. I just cut it down. I do 2 TBS in the top of a 5 gallon fabric pot. then 1 tbs every 1st of...

    Soil Reuse advice needed

my soil gets rotated. I have three rubbermaid tubs Stacked up. When my plants are harvested, I add some enzymes solution to the pot and let it sit two weeks. Then I cut out the stem and the tight ball of roots. Chop up the remainder of the roots and soil, fill a rubbermaid tub. Mix in 1/2 cup of...

    Hygrozyme In soil tips???

be careful with too much water....actually too OFTEN watering...this was my biggest issue when I started. Too much watering limits oxygen to roots, closes down the ability to pull in nutrients, masking the problem to look like nutrient deficiency. Secondly - make sure Nutrient mix and water...

3 gallon vs 5 gallon pots

So I have found 3 gallon sucks out all the water too quick. meaning I would need to water twice a day at peak. I love anything until it becomes a pain in the arse. I prefer 5 gallon fabric pots and build up that root system before the switch to flower....unless I am doing some micro-grow-bonsai...
