Thanks for the compliment. That makes me feel pretty good as I actually had to cut all of the MDF with a regular crosscut saw (hand saw). I will post a thread about it hopefully by this weekend.

That will really depend on how big the plant is. I like to make sure there is a lot of air flow, the fans help strengthen the stalk. After that once the plant hits a certain size I start trying. Be very careful so as not to break it, but if you find you can tie it down without applying too...
