This is hard to describe in words. Google pics of a male and female plant to learn the difference and for what to look for on the plant. Basically a male plant will start to develop "little balls". Girl plants will start to grow "hairs"

Good Evening, Can you put your plant under 12/12 lighting to determine the sex, then return to veg? Or is it best to continue on with the flowering stage? Also, once plant has started to flower, is it still important to continue with "Complete Darknesss" through the entire flowering stage...
