I just started making my own seeds too. I had 2 male LA Woman x Skunk. I used the male w/ the shortest spacing between the nodes. I used the jar and paintbrush method to pollinate and it worked well. I only had 1 flower that I didnt pollinate get seeded. Hope that helps you.

Yes, you'll see a difference. Not only that but vegging longer seems to produce a better taste. I did the same thing you did and i switched to longer veg and bigger post and im happy w/ the results.
