70W HPS Sylvania EPA Compliant Lamp @ Businesslights.com thats a site to get 70w HPS at. would 3x 4' fluoros work all the way thro with alright results?

so maybe some fluoro tubes? thats really all u need to veg for three weeks. 2 x 2tube 4' long. then get maybe 3 "Y" adapters and add warm white bulbs for flowering. sounds alright to me

hell no. i got it from home depot thats all it says on the bag. but would that woek out good?

goal : 2 medium sized plants. (maybe 2oz.) lighting : for veg; 2x 28w CFL's, warm white and 2x 28w CFL's cool white. (total of about 4000 lumens) for FLWR : the CFL'S and then add a 70w HPS ( adding 5,700 lumens). medium: organic potting soil. would this be enough to do the job with...

would i be imorest for my first grow to use some CFL'S for veg and a mix of a 70W hps and 4 CFL's for flower? would that be alright for 2 plants?

probly just going with about 5 "CFL's" they are the big spiraly light bulbs ( energy saving light bulbs)

no not 2 x 150's. a single 150 HPS for flwer. and 2 80w CFL's for veg. does that sound good for 2 small plantS?

well i want to grow 3 plants under: 2x 80w fluoro tubes for 3 weeks. then switch 2 a 150w HPS. (maybe 2 plants about 1 1/2 ft tall?) would this be alright anybody'??? thanks

how many plants are you growing?? im getting a 150w HPS and it puts out 16,000 lumens. over a 2x2 area.

should have got a 250w. that would have been plenty.

it says 16,000 lumens coming out of it. but would that be enough for 2 plants?

i dont know, im trying to find a 100w mh/hps system for around $130 im kind of timid about CFL growing, im not to sure about the results. can any one direct me to a nice light setup??? thanks,

im trying to get a grow going. but i cant find some decent lights for cheap. my range is about $100. im trying to find some lights that will do the job for 2 small plants. anybody help me out a little please?
