Pots should be fine, get a good organic potting soil, add a little bit of blood meal and a little bone meal, add a little more bone meal than blood meal since they wont veg very long, and u should be good to go.

Aluminum foil causes heat spots, try to get a roll of mylar and cut it to fit the top properly, its a good idea to reflect the heat back up, just not with aluminum foil,

Well if u illuminate ur tent with led, then u wont have to worry about venting all that heat from ur tent.

U did fine ur first grow, alotta people kill them or get terrible airy buds, and once ur plant developes its first set of true leaves, slam that bitch wth as many cfls as possible, just watch the heat between the top of the plant and the bottom of the lights

That soil looks absolutely terrible but the plant seems to love it, idk i think u may run into some problems root wise, idk how they are able to expand in that, looks like wet cement.

Honestly it really does depend on the strain, ive done full grows without adding any nutes besides bone meal and blood meal that i mixed in with the soil. And as for the lights, thats not much for veg, i have 2 autos under 3 23w cfls and 3 42w cfls, as u go up in wattage with cfls the lumens...

Stipules, forgot all about those lol and heat isnt an issue, usually around 62-75 degrees, this is my first auto grow, ive done 2 previous grows but with photo plants, not too familiar with autos but they really arent much diff than photos, just cant stress them and no need to change light...

Thanks i appreciate the input, i think it may just be the seeds i got, the first never germd, the second popped the soil then withered n died and this one looks nice n green n healthy but just isnt growing much at all, atleast above the soil.
