hey geezy. i`m moving along with my first auto grow also. i started all of my babies inside, then moved outside after less than a week (about 5 days). if you have the lighting set up to adequately give your girls what they need, then maybe keep them inside a bit longer. but my mindeset was that...
not trying to be a dick chickenp, but honestly, is that a serious question or are you f-ing with me? ever here of places called northern cali, the colorado rockies, montana, alaska, british columbia...not much different environments than the alps. so yeah, you can.
any advice or input relative...
Hey everyone. Moving in a nice direction with my autoflower balcony grow (germed 4 of 6), but I could really use some advice/input on a light issue I`ll likely face throughout the grow.
My ladies get a nice amount of direct sunlight on a sunny day (approx. 7 hrs, plus a couple more of ambient...
I was wondering what opinions are about attracting ladybugs to our organic cannabis gardens? I grow other vegetables and started attracting ladybugs (via organic substance i bought at a garden store) to get rid of aphids that were attacking my pepper plants.
Does this sound like a good...
Hey everyone. I`ve stored seeds in different ways through the years, sometimes in a dry dark closet, sometimes in the fridge in tupperware, sometimes in an envelope stashed inside a drawer that i forgot about for two years (smart huh). My new method derives out of two things, the combination of...
kb, thats some of the best genuine advice any new grower should read. btw, i decided to go with gold label light for my soil mixture. the dude at the shop i bought the medium at offered the same advice and it really hit home. i`m all about mother nature running the show, so thats what i`m gonna...
not sure about US delivery options from seedsman. from what i remember everything was explained in detail on the site (another reason i enjoyed my seed collection experience...good communication). as i mentioned, seedsman packaged the product quite well in terms of stealth and protection. i...
So, my excitement to get started trumped my desire for opinions on the soil battle between plagron and gold label (sorry about the spelling earlier, was typing faster than brain was working). I decided to go with the gold label special mix LIGHT. My decision process was basically this...
dirrtyd, before i thank you later, just wanted say thanks right now. says alot about you and this forum site that you (and the other knowledgeable members posting on this thread) take the time to share some knowledge with a noob. honestly, i`ve decided to go the safer, lazier route for my first...
Where to buy our precious little babies is always a GIANT decision-making process...requires a leap of faith in many regards and considering the expense involved, its not a leap to take lightly.
I`m a research freak. I scrutinize, analyze, compare and compare again before i make any purchase...
Been seriously absorbing TONS of valuable information concerning soil mixes lately. My main issue is that I`m a newbie grower and would prefer to keep it simple for a few reasons...mainly lack of space to mix my own (apt balcony grow) and sheer teror of screwing up my soil mix by getting too...
thanks ghettorigger. looks like good advice. others have been recommending soil mix 2, but thats really the whole point of my thread....they both seem like viable options as long as i enhance the mixtures with some other goodies (of which everyone seems to be in agreement concerning the...
Hey everyone. I thought I`d repost my thread in the organics section (hope thats cool with moderators) to try and get some more info on my question from a different perspective. Looking for some advice from experienced outdoor growers to help me choose the best pre-made organic soil mixture. I...
thanks for the input kb. i like your molasses idea. as for the fert pellets i already have, they`re definitely organic stuff...its a bit challenging to read the fench, german and italian ingredient labels but its all `organische, organique, etc.`
i`ve got alot to learn, but damn its gonna be...
right on! last thing regarding the mixture quantities. the 2 soil mixture bags are a total of 70 Liters (soil mix 1 is 50L bag, soil mix 2 is 20L). Do your quantities of perlite, lime, EWC, and kelp refer to the individual 12L pots or for the total 70L mixture?
ok, a little confused on dirrtyd advice. if i add lime, it raises ph right? the soil mixes are already at 7ph. is the lime necessary to counteract the worm castings/other fertilizer?
Thanks for the quick reply whiterooster. Any thoughts on my vegetable fertilizer pellets? I also have an organic liquid thats 4%N and 6%P. Are these good choices? I`m reallly trying to take the confusion out of the process and keep it simple.
