Greenearth why not just spread the plants out a bit more and hang it. The 400w is capable of covering a 4x4 area inclosed or 3x3 not inclosed. You should be to the 4x4 with the 550w and btw good job on adding that other light you should notice a deffinate difference. :leaf::peace::leaf:
