I have 1 1000w and 2 400w lights and was wondering if the 2 400's will be fine or should I use the 1000w or even 2 1000w's? Running a 25 station drip system and a 25 gal res (which I might run 2 25gal res). Some helpful input is greatly appreciated. Thanks
Would it be beneficial to put a 400w light directly under the plant as well as the 400w directly above? Just wondering because I have a spare 400w setup and she's in her 3rd week of 12-12 and she doesn't look like she's slowing down. I just started to do some lst to keep her from getting too...
I just went to 12/12 5 days ago. Well today we had a crazy windstorm and we lost power for 3hrs. Power went out about 2hrs after her light came on for the day. Is this going to do anything to her and if so what do I look for?
I'm running a single 400w with top drip recirculation and 25gal res using GH flora series. I just started week 4 yesterday 5/1/13 and went from 3tsp/gal grow 2tsp/gal micro 1tsp/gal bloom to 2-2-2 for trasistion to bloom. I need to know if I need to change the light to the hps and 12-12 now as...
Today is week 3 in the hydro recirc system. What all do I need to do to start the bloom phase? Is it 12/12 and switch the bulb and change the nutes or what? Hows she looking btw?
So since this is my first hydro grow I only wanted to do one plant. Today is the 3rd week in the veg stage and my friend said I could switch them anytime now. I'm using GH flora series and went from 3/2/1 for aggressive veg to 2/2/2 for transission to bloom. So other than changing the bulb and...
GH says for aggressive veg with the flora series on the 3rd week the ppm should be 1000-1300. Why am I getting input that the ppm should be around 300-400 at the point I'm at right now? This is all pretty confusing and kinda makes me want to bag it and just buy local.
Then why does my girl look so well? According to my meter ph5.6 temp76-78 ppm1550. Going on second week with gh flora series 3-2-1 and shes looking nice and green, perky and full. I'm guessing I may need to recilbrate the meter.
Pht-026 is the meter I got off ebay. Its made in china so go figure but the calibration solution is not common so will the more common ones that are close to the values it calls for work?
So to calibrate the ph it asks for ph6.86, ph4.0, ph9.18 solution. The only solutions I can find are 4, 7, 10 will this be acceptable or do I need the specific? Then to calibrate the ppm and ec and so on it calls for 12.88ec solution and 1.41ec will this need to be specific too or what?
Ya I wanted to start with one in case I was a total failure, I didn't want to waste more than that. So while I'm at it I have another question. Since I have only one plant does it eat up the nutes the same? Because the instructions say to change the water every 7-10 days. So I was thinking if...
