So, here is round 2. They are supposedly in their 8th week of flowering, however due to timer issues I think somehow they re-veged. I put them in 24 hour darkness to "remind" them to flower, along with double checking the damn timer every day. I also trimmed up some tiny little stems that began...
Thanks! Yeah, the training on those GSC worked great! I was really happy with how well those knuckles developed!
As for the light...it's still going strong. I am really pleased with it!
It was my first grow, so overall it went OK. However, I could have done a lot better. Unfortunately I did not have much viable bud. I encountered many problems: I had 3 plants, one or two of them literally grew into the light, I forgot to flush, there was no curing...just poor amateur mistakes...
Sorry for the delay in updating. It's not been clear sailing, and the noob experiences have shamefully piled up. On the plus side, the pH has remained within range for the most part, resumed following the Fox Farms nute scheduling into flowering. As of yesterday, the low humidity issue has been...
It took about a week from when they initially sent me an email that they would issue the refund. The email I received from them was April 7, and the refund was back on my CC by the 13th. It would seem you've waited plenty long for them to get it back into your account or card....that is a bit...
It is good to hear that you have had successful orders from BDS and AMS seeds. What country are you having them shipped to?
Also, I'm fairly confident that since I received a refund I must have gone to the legitimate website for AMS. Thanks for the explanation about HTTP and HTTPS though.
This thread looks a bit old, but I thought I would add my recent experience with AMS seeds on here.
GOOD News: My first order was placed back in January for some GSC. As a promotion they shipped me 10 free AK-47 seeds. I paid via credit card online, and had them shipped to my address. The seeds...
Nice! Yeah, I was just checking out some other first time mainlining results since I am in the same boat as you are. I vegged mine for 9.5 weeks, then they hit the two week mark yesterday. The stretch really caught me off guard a bit, and hope they stop stretching soon! Anyway, nice work man...
Thanks for the info! I honestly had no idea about their reputation. The light I ordered is one of their newest models, so I was hopeful that it would have some decent quality and longevity to it.
I've been using a Platinum LED P4-XML2 for a little over a month now. This is my first grow, but the results are pretty impressive. What I like most about the light is there are 3 different settings that can be used, or any combination. Supposedly this light is capable of replacing a 600W...
Those are looking good, for sure! I just have two questions for you, have you taken into account the flowering stretch for your grow space? Also, how long did you veg them for while mainlining them?
Thanks for the advice ViceCity...I may have to go that route.
Grow Recap:
Days from germination: 81 days (Jan 20 - April 10)
Veg: 9.5 weeks (Jan 20-March 27)
Flowering: 2 weeks (March 27-April 10)
I used Nebulas Manifold method to create 8 colas on 2 plants, and 6 colas on 1 plant. The Nebula...
Very satisfied. Here is a pic of the girls today, after raising the light to 5 ft. The tall cola on the right side is over 3 ft, however most others are looking around 30". I didn't think that the flowering stretch would be much for an Indica dominant strain. This is one full week into 12/12...
Thanks ViceCity! So far it has been working out, and am I growing optimistic about yield (pun intended)!
Here's an update on the girls. They've turned into some little monsters, and are just growing very quickly and taking up a lot of space!
Days from germination: 71 days (Jan 20 - March 31)...
The fan I have is a Soler and Palau TD-100XS. It has two settings: 100 cfm on "low", and 203 cfm when wired for "high." It is very quiet! I have a grow tent set up in a room that I do not use, and the fan is on the far side of the room from the door. You cannot noticeable hear it through the...
