All you got to do is raise your pots about 2 ft and move ya plants out by the same. Keep the cages and if you can't do side lighting, rotate 1/4 as often as you can.

I grow like you describe and pretty much as OP has it but with 2 600 lamps where they should be plus 4x600 round the sides (only ever 2side lights at any time and only if temps allow extra light). With a few easy tweaks OP has the makings of a killer grow. I currently pull 12z's every 2 weeks...

just make sure lights out before bed time. The world (most of it) wakes at 6 and goes to bed at 12. So low consumption during those hours.

I hear ya but its a piece of piss to snip out regular service holes to get your hand through. I use the bits I cut out to make hooks to attatch branches to the silo. Don't forget, I silo each plant as well.

why are you fellas still prattling on about GPW. It is a nonesense unless you factor in the cost of vegging. Give me enough veg time and I will smash 2 gpw easy. GPW = dried product / kwh applied, not dried product / wattage of bulbs. There is a big difference betweem the two.

Every inch counts with regards to 'distance to bulb' and light quality. The degradation in light quality will be far higher moving your canopy 18" further away from the bulb than using a cool tube and being 18" closer. I also defy anybody to do an idoor vertical summer grow with 1200w+ bare...
